UN.CORE.BAR #7 25.02.2023

After three years of waiting, the time had come again: Finally, another un.core.bar in the basement! This time it should be the KØPI basement. Bigger location and bigger sound system from YAYA was the plan. This plan could not be realized because of an accident during the transport. Fortunately no injuries but the sound system was unavailable for the rest of the weekend. On the search for a replacement sound system that would be available the same evening, we found it at SOUNDBUNDLE. So we were even able to start the party at the scheduled time. The party itself went super well and far more guests came than I had thought.

Nach drei Jahren Wartezeit war es wieder soweit: Endlich wieder eine un.core.bar im Keller! Dieses mal sollte es der KØPI Keller sein. Größere Location und größeres Soundsystem von YAYA war der Plan. Dieser lies sich dann nicht umsetzen, da sich ein Unfall beim Transport ereignete. Glücklicherweise keine Verletzungen aber das Soundsystem war für das restliche Wochenende unerreichbar. Auf der Suche nach einem Ersatzsoundsystem, das noch am gleichen Abend verfügbar ist wurden wir dann bei SOUNDBUNDLE fündig. So waren wir sogar in der Lage zur geplanten Zeit die Party zu starten. Die Party selbst lief super gut und es kamen weit mehr Gäste als ich gedacht hatte.

they say that these people do not belong to us.
they lie to sow fear.
they attack people
they injure people.
they kill people.
they make our friends and neighbors live in fear.
we should not accept this!
there were times when racists were not so loud and present.
let’s revive those times!
…so let’s make racists AFRAID again!

un.core.bar @ ‚fuckparade‘ 2022

the hempparade was hardly behind us and it was clear:
we want to go to the fuckparade with our own truck!
we started a crowdfunding which went super well and many
generous donors made it possible for us to realise the project.
thank you very much!

die hanfparade lag kaum hinter uns und es war klar:
wir wollen mit eigenem truck zur fuckparade!
wir starteten ein crowdfunding das supergut lief und
viele großzügige spender:innen
ermöglichten uns die umsetzung des vorhabens.
vielen dank an euch!

with great support from distelblut i printed lots of patches to bring them to the people at the parade for a donation.
another friend helped me to paint the banners.

mit toller unterstützung von distelblut druckte ich unmengen patches, um diese auf der parade gegen spende unter die leute zu bringen. eine andere freundin half mir beim malen der banner.

at the wagenplatz „laster&hänger“ friends and me
cooked delicious food under the motto „un.cook.bar“
which was handed out at the küfa for a donation.

unter dem motto „un.cook.bar“ leckeres essen,
das bei der küfa gegen spende ausgegeben wurde.

after a short night because we set up the sound system on the truck until 2 am we met at the starting point of the parade at 12 am. the truck was decorated and the instruments were connected.
then we were ready!

nach kurzer nacht weil wir noch bis um 2 uhr morgens
das soundsystem auf dem truck aufbauten trafen wir uns um 12 uhr am startplatz der parade. der wagen wurde dekoriert und die
instrumente angeschlossen.
dann waren wir bereit!

it was a long, exhausting and beautiful day.
thanks to all who made the un.core.bar float possible!
thanks to all who supported us financially!
thanks to the helpers, drivers and the „un.ordner:innen“!
thanks to our technician and the artists!
thanks to the great orga team with whom
we mastered this challenge!

un.core.bar @ `hanfparade´ 2022-08-13

 

we had a lot of fun at the ‚fete drrr la musique‘
so it was time for the next step:
after many years of participating in the ‚hemp parade‘,
finally taking part ourselves with a float,
and to make a contribution to the musical diversity.

da wir viel spaß auf der `fete drrr la musique´
hatten war es zeit für den nächsten schritt:
nach vielen jahren auf der `hanfparade´ als teilnehmer
endlich selber mit einem wagen mitmachen,
und zur musikalischen vielfalt beizutragen.

un.core.bar @ `fete drrr la musique´ 2022-06-21

rather spontaneously we decided to take part in the ‚fete de la musique‘. we went with dpwnload’s soundsystem to the treptower park. robert foulcant opened the event, dpwnload & mister kowi followed. for a while, and longer than i expected, we could celebrate the music there. but when zara paz played, the park rangers came and sent us away. we found another place and were able to party some more, but then the park rangers stopped us and forced us to stop when zustand d. started to play. after a while we went to the train station where there is a small tunnel on the side. on the way to the tunnel and in it we continued our little party until it was late. oliotronix and memero sweetened our way to the station and the time in the tunnel.
it was a day with a lot of fun, even if unfortunately not all          scheduled artists could play their music…

and it was the first time un.core.bar was an outdoor event…

eher spontan haben wir uns entschlossen an der ‚fete de la musique‘ teilzunehmen. wir fuhren mit dpwnload’s soundsystem in den treptower park. robert foulcant eröffnete das geschehen, dpwnload & mister kowi folgten. eine weile, und länger als ich erwartet habe, konnten wir dort die musik feiern. als zara paz spielte kamen aber die parkwächter und schickten uns weg.
wir fanden einen anderen platz und konnten noch ein wenig weiter feiern, aber dann bremste uns das ordnungsamt und zwang uns aufzuhören, als zustand d. grade begann zu spielen. nach einer weile gingen wir zum bahnhof an dessen seite sich ein kleiner    tunnel befindet. auf dem weg zum tunnel und in diesem setzten wir unsere kleine party fort, bis es spät war. oliotronix und memero versüßten uns den weg zum bahnhof und die zeit im tunnel. es war ein tag mit viel spaß, auch wenn leider nicht alle eingeplanten artists ihre musik spielen konnten..

und es war das erste mal un.core.bar als outdoor event..

as someone who was born in the 80’s, the year 2022 was a far away land.
there was a lot of hope.
and now.. here we are:
no flying cars, but killer drones,
no hover board but these forsaken electro scooters, which get in the way everywhere,
unaffordable subway tickets and tesla tanks blocking the bicycle paths.
we didn’t stop the world hunger and we are closer to the climate catastrophe than ever before,
no harmony and the third world war closer than ever.
welcome to the future.
